We are a self-help group for parents, who have lost a child or children through premature birth, miscarriage, stillbirth, shortly after the infant was born, abortion due to medical diagnosis or other reasons.
Almost every fourth women has experienced a pregnancy ending in the death of a child. In other words: almost every third pregnancy ends in loss, even when the best medical precautions have been taken.
We are a self-help group for those concerned men and women who want to help
themselves and other parents through the mutual exchange of experiences and
information. Together, we hope to find new meaning in our lives and to feel
happy again, but not to forget the child. In other words:
Once you have found comfort (peace),
You will be content
To have known me.
Antoine de St. Exupéry
Studies have shown that in order to resolve the psychological pain caused from the loss of a child in these types of situations undergoing intensive therapy is of significant benefit to the concerned.
Our group is designed to help you connect with people who will support you by giving you sympathy and advice and to provide you a base if you want to become more active yourself. We are looking for people who do not want to give in to their sadness but who want to look ahead to the future. It is in our hands to decide how we will educate society and how we can make the future more bearable for those suffering through this type of situation.
We can provide you with flyers and information to this subject. We also offer seminars on demand for specialized personnel as well as those directly involved.
